I didnt know that Earthworm Jim (cartoon) was based on the game, but it is. Game came first. Thought it was the other way round. Anyway I'd say most of them will suck

IMO Movies made from games aren't terrific, though there are a few good ones, Silent Hill, Resident Evil.

At least it's not the other way. I haven't met anyone who could name one good game made from a movie.

I'm kind of interested to see what they come up with, some of them bother me though, World of Warcraft? No thanks, I prefer my nerdiness contained to my computer screen, not the big screen.

Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter again? But they are just too old. Probably noone plays those games nowadays. Area 51 is OK. Make a movie of L4D also...

Resident Evil is not a good video game movie.

It was a pretty good movie, but they took so many hollywood liberties that I think as a "Resident Evil" movie it fell short.

Earthworm Jim was amazing!!

If this is an animated cartoon then brilliant. If its in 3D animation, it could be ok. But if its 3D mixed with live action (rocky and bullwinkle style) then kill me now!

i for one have been waiting for the halo movie since the rumors started coming up whren halo 3 was realeased i really piss pwning ppl with the hammer and energy sword

Resident Evil is totaly crap, when you played all games. For casuals, ok. For resi fanbois, no way. Resident Evil: Degeneration is fucking awesome. Little bit story between 4 and forthcoming 5.

But the "newer" zombies are faster and more agressive. 28 weeks later, Dead Set, Dawn of the dead Remake. I guess, the style will change withhin the next few days / films.
