I can't fucking wait for this. Oh I still have such fantastic memories of the summer years ago when I played san andreas every day. There was a value for money game :)

Oh yeah, this summer I played San Andreas a lot, too. San Fierro was so beautiful, and the Golden Gate bridge, I already loved it before knowing the game! Oh, and the casino and especially the gang wars were a lot of fun. I miss the wars. And the airplanes. :) But the best vehicles were, in my opinion, the motorbikes. :P By the way, did I mention winning millions on horse racing? :D

Ok, I might sound like there were no parts of the game which I didn't like but actually, there were a few: some hard missions (remote controlled stunt plane with unreal physics), some non-sense missions which were just annoying (eg. dancing), moreover, doing graffiti & collecting stuff (who the hell wants to do that instead of firing guns?).

What I'm saying is, I'm looking forward to trying GTA 4!!

Totally agree on some of the stupid missions. Although the RC helicopter in vice city was even worse than the one in SA. Also that stupid dating thing.

Has anyone finished IV on a console. Is there much stupid stuff??

My friend has it on xbox 360 and says he likes it, but I haven't played it. I remember playing GTA:SA for a little amount of time on the first xbox, but I was borrowing the game and didn't get a chance to get onto the second island. I'm downloading the trailer now via steam.. looks interesting :D

I remember having a lot of fun playing it... and this preorder includes vice city? That means you can play vice city now whilst waiting for GTA:IV to be released?

Tempting.

I already have vice city for PC. Its ok but doesn't play nearly as SA does. Oddly enough, I was playing vice city during my non-internet wilderness weeks. Dam San Andreas disc was scratched to shit and unusable. Long Live Steam.

I remember play SA when it came out on my brothers PS2. I was playing too much as I started dreaming I was driving with my misses on that massive long highway from the first city to the second one. The road onto the highway is to the left of the first city and the road sweeps right round the bottom of the second island and then up the centre into the second city.

I had to slow down playing it after that.

Having played it on the 360 I can say I can and will wait, this game failed to meet my expectations... But I'll still probably buy it
