New medic weapon idea

it came to me in a dream last night, a new medic weapon that does DOT( Damage over time), basically poisons the enemy similar to the infector out of Ratchet and clank 3, if set alight by the pyro it will explode and sticks to the surface of areas but dissapears after a few secs.

you mean like the way it was back in TFC? they took that and the ability to heal oneself out for a reason.. back in the day you always ended up having a bunch of assault medics running around dominating the server and not healing anyone but themselves. ;)

it could always have like only 5 or 10 ammo or have a recharge time so they can only use every 5 mins

Or in a new mode of gameplay medics could send out the scouts to capture and bring back opponents so that the medics could then experiment and mutate the other team before sending them back to their own base to explode, instantly winning the map. I see no reason why this should not work.

The Strog already tried something like that, didn't work.. one of their subjects got loose before they implanted the control chip into his brain and he ended up kicking all of their asses a second time.
