I had a haircut today.

I also got my joint birthday and xmas present today. A Canon EOS 450D with Image stabilising 18:55mm Lense.

Me neither, and we sure did have some doozies.. the problem with places like where we come from is that the communities are already well equipped with plows and stuuf to deal with all sorts of snow disasters.. The school bus even had standard-issue snow chains and it happened a couple of times that I had to help put them on when it got stuck in a snow bank.

Hell, this one time it even happened that two seperate bridges got knocked out of commission within hours of each other.. One got taken out by an overloaded logging-truck and the other by a heavy machinery transporter (tried taking a short-cut but exceeded the maximum height-requirements).
Since roughly half the town was surrounded by two large rivers, it ended up being blocked off from the rest of the world for a week or so.. Coincidentally my school was located in the blocked-off area but, unfortunately, so was my house
