This is just one of 65 roads in Galway closed due to the flooding.. there is stories of morons with cars coming from every flood.. we spent most of Thursday and Friday evening pulling morons out of floods cause they "chanced it" and sucked water into there engine.. i know a fella that did it to both his cars.. fools..

there is 7 water tankers and 2 huge pumps running 24/7 in Gort town since last Thursday trying to keep the water level down enough so it wont flood any more business's. those that seen the Irish news last night would have seen the church which is under 7 feet of water at the minute. we had floods in 95' which were considered the worst ever and the water volume we have now makes them floods from 95 look like a puddle's

I Live in east Anglia, and while we hear loads about English flooding, and about the policeman who died, while stopping motorists from coming onto a bridge, which collapsed. (it was going to be his birthday the next day

Obviously the Big British Castle couldn't care less about Ireland. Shame.

What I love about BBC weather in particular is that outside of mainland Britain the only other place to have a large city is Belfast. While thar be dragons in the rest of ireland and sea monsters on the continent

nah no one killed thank God thats why there is very little coverage of it outside of ireland.. 100's of cars buggered though :p
