I've spent the better half of my gaming time on this. Quite possibly the very essence of what I like in games - big city, lots of targets, and just lil' ol' me and my punching, slicing, disemboweling, kicking, throwing, smashing, impaling, crushing and consuming anything and everything that gets in my way.
I especially enjoy sprinting over cars and air-to-ground slams. Especially the Bullet Dive, the purest most epic form of pwn condensed into one brutal high speed impact. Will try to upload some vids of it later.
And before anyone asks, I torrented it. I'm not one to spend money on a single player game.
Great job, BBloke!

So you never pay for a single player game? Tut tut.

I'm not entirely innocent, i've torrented a few games in my time. But but the vast majority i buy, same with music and movies. If i get enjoyment out of it i should probably show at least the base level of appreciation by paying for it.

And what about those of us who have very limited access to games and/or funds for said games?
I usually don't torrent much, but I just couldn't miss this one, once I saw the trailer.

I only download stuff I wouldn't have bought even if I had the cash.

Advent is absolutely right. If you don't pay for stuff you are basically biting the hand that feeds you. No money going back to delevopers = no more development = no more quality games.

Torrents for only serve one sole purpose: Try before I buy

sometimes demos are to short or are no demos at all.

If I really like something , let´s say Shadow of the Colossus , i downloaded it loved it then ended it like 5 times , then a year later I found it and bought it because I friggin loved it. I still do but dont have a Ps2 to play it anymore it´s broken:(

But the bottom line is: If you like it buy it

Cheers

For me it's kinda hard. I'll pay for games and books and buy some music but where I'm at school I get no money, I've got a job waiting for me at 16 so then I'll be able to pay for stuff. I'll still download JRock though seeing as to buy a album it costs £20 because has to be imported.

Obvious response is save or dont have them i guess. I can't afford a car, so i walk. Can't afford nice food all the time so take away max once a week. Can't afford a nice big house so i rent a room in a crappy one. Can't afford heroin so i have to make do with homemade speed (crushed lucozade tablets, icing sugar and bleach).

I'm a huge fan of gaming, i love the industry, reading about the culture, playing games from every genre and console. I figure i should at least pay for the things i enjoy, seeing as how many people put so much work into it.
Big faceless corporations, yada yada yada, EA and starforce, net neutrality and intellectual properity. Yeah, it's complicated. But if you call yourself a gamer, support your hobby and throw some money back when you can.
