there's nothing wrong with the combination at all, but it seems a bit odd, even to a culinary experimenter like myself, to mix cheese and gravy!
It's one of those things that shouldn't work, but it does!
Give steak, cheese, chips and peppercorn sauce a go. You won't be dissapointed.

Cheese and apple sandwiches are also good (well cheddar and granny smiths anyway)

I do believe that apple and cheese is a well known combo, often used for hors d'ouveres.

Of course, my first exposure to such a bizarre taste concoction was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Frozen Pizza, back in the 80s or 90s.

Indeed it is. Althoug you tend to see pineapple and cheese more often.

As far as getting the munchies goes i tend to favour a bag of broken biscuits or a toastie fo some variety. Maybe Nutella and banana...

Haha Lazy and Johnimus you should open your own restaurant!

The thing I never got was cheese and pinapple at partys. Such a strange combination to me, possibly because I don't like pineapple lol, or maybe that's the reason why I don't? Hmm that's got me thinking now...
