There is an FPS that has 6DOF ability (similar to this).

Yeah its cool and all that, but after watching that video all I want to do is have a go on that cool looking electric 'cello in the leaning against the wall by the fireplace

I tried to get that program working on my laptop awhile ago but I dont think it works with vista or something.
I did however manage to get my wiimote to work as a mouse which was really cool despite being allot harder to do than a proper mouse.
The wiimote is a fantastic piece of technology though. It uses bluetooth so its easy to get it working on your pc.

As long as you have a bluetooth stack that works with the software you're using. I've java libraries to analyse data from the wiimote and it's pretty cool. I agree it's a great piece of technology, and i actually have on (I don't own a wii) that I'll be using to control my robot with the accelerometer data
(well that's the plan anywho)
