Re: a mouse of a problem
Used to use raisins or marshmellow with peanutbutter back home, best I had was 3 mice in one night.. weren't blind though.
I mean, it's all windy stairs. I'm not being funny.
Re: a mouse of a problem
I think i have a house full of Brains in my house (as in Pinky and the Brain). We went on holiday and layed around 20 traps out, all baited up. When we came home a week later, none of them had gone off or caught any mice but most of the bait had gone. I put two tubs of poison down, all eaten. No dead mice anywhere. Ive bought those plug in high frequency things. The mouse ran past it. Ive bought "humane" traps with the idea to kill the fucker once caught, but nothing. I still get droppings around so they are about.
I managed to kill one about 2 months ago. It ran under the arm chair in my front room. I lifted the arm chair and as it ran out I tried to hit it with a show but it slid under the door. A few days later it ran under the arm chair again. I blocked the botom of the door with a table cloth, lifted the chair and he ran out, straight to the door to go under, he realsied the dopor was blocked, ran up the rolled up tabel cloth and back onto the floor to be met with the bottom of my size 11's. Little shit.
Ive seen them since then. I just dont know what else to do!! I had to resort to being tidy!! :0

Peanut Butter works, usually they stay there long enough to be caught cause it takes a while to eat.
Re: a mouse of a problem
hm... borrow a friends cat? or build a labyrinth for the mouse as a trap

Yeah i agree with bowzie. And stay the hell away from those enviromentally friendly traps, the mouse in my house just looked at it in disgust and got stuff from the cupboard.
