This HAS to be fake, I played WoW for one year, and just when it became bored, I just stopped playing it like every other game. I don't know why they always pick WoW out, because every game can be addictive. Not only WoW, and like I said, I played WoW and had really NO problems with it, just deleted it from my pc and never wanted to play it again :p

Its probably picked out due to it leeching the life out of people that and WoW is the only mmo game I can recall that has a fatality linked to it. It could also be because most people would recognise WoW over games like Guild Wars.

These kind of people are usually fucked up in the membrane already, WoW's just adding fuel to the fire. That and it's popular so it's a good scapegoat.

Yeah thats true. People tend to see wow players as all being a bunch of recluses who play it 24/7 and have no social lives. Of course thats not true but there will always be a small number who are dedicated fanatics and should probably seek help.

first off if it is real, imagine the freakout that insued when he went to school the day after this hit the net and second im a little disapointed he didnt do the running in a circle while laying on the ground bit and in my wow days ive heard some impressive freakouts over ventrilo

Didn't Everquest or one of those zany Korean MMOs cause a few deaths?
You know those stories every long while about some gamer who sat in an internet cafe for 78 hours and eventually keeled over. I can't remember any of them being over WoW

It's wierd, average WoW players are the ones that play too much, the best guild's in the world on WoW are people with actual lives but some do it for a living and get alot of money somehow hehe.
