Found this on a forum and for the spys among us you will know how true this is

I made a list of rules for the Spy, to exaggerate how frustrating it is to play as a Spy. This is just for fun, you can add some too.

1. As a Spy, you will fail.

2. Steping outside is suicide.

3. When you chase someone, of all times they will turn around just when you are about to backstab them.

4. Facestabs are not for you, they only work for enemy Spies.

5. Pyros have spyvision. They have a radar on the right corner of the screen tracking down Spies.

6. Snipers can headshot cloaked Spies.

7. When you go around that corner an enemy will come out and crit you.

8. You spend most of your time waiting for respawn.

9. When you are about to backstab someone, they will have a random erge to turn around.

10. What's the difference between a Spy disguised as a Pyro and a normal undisguised Spy? Absolutely nothing. Disguises don't fool anyone.

11. Engies will always crit specifically on Spies.

12. When you are about to stab a Sniper he will always move to try to find a better sniping point.

13. When you see a lot of backs turned to you in hope of a backstab spree, a Pyro will suddenly burn you from the back.

14. You will always backstab a Medic at the same time he ubers.

15. Spies completely rely on luck. Whether a Pyro will come out that corner or not has nothing to do with your skill, but is all by random chance.

16. Jump on top of a heavies head, but do not backstab him. See how long he can be your unaware throne.

17. Whenever your a crab spy soe idiot pyro will flame you.

18. When teleporter camping for backstabs, you will get telefragged

19: If your team consists of one or more scouts, they will account for 75% of your deaths by running over sticky traps you're crossing while cloaked, by jumping in view of a sentry gun you are about to sap, or by making the entire would-be stab train turn around to shoot him just as you are uncloaking.
Addendum to 21: Any friendly pyro in your immediate vicinity will do his or her utmost try and enter a pyro duel with an enemy pyro while you are trying to sneak by, with obvious consequences.

20: Your perfectly timed, perfectly landed backstab may or may not bug out, but that engineer's wrench will crit you 100% of the time.

21: Engies that leave their sentries unattended are always at the exact distance it takes them to get back and knock the sapper off with less than 1 second to go.

22: Pyroes randomly firing into the air out of boredom will do so just as you are trying to sneak by.

23: If only one person in a room is able to see you, it'll be the one you're impersonating.

24. just about as your going to save your teammate from that heavy he decides to circle strafe him and you both die (dam pyro)

25. just as the medic stands still, he moves

26. just as your about to backstab someone your teamates rocket flings him away, with his uber, revealing me, i cursed at him afterwards since his excuse was that it was his kill since he saw him under the 2fort battlements even though i was behind him

Too very true. 19 happens all the bloody time and it''s so frustating.. You'll either end up dead or waist your cloak and even then waiting for your cloak to regenerate will leave you dead just before you were about to move on!! LOL

Thank heavens i'm not that unlucky. In fact, there was this one time, at an egyptian custom map, i sneaked through the enemies defenses, uncloaked and went to backstab a heavy who was being healed by a medic. As i'm about to kill him, the medic ubers the heavy, which starts advancing to our camp killing everything on sight. He doesn't even know i'm behind him, repeatedly backstabbing him (at this point i was expecting someone from his team to come and kill me, but no-one did ^^). Suddenly the uber ends and i backstab him and run away. This happened to me twice in this server, and i'm still figuring out how the hell did i get away with it.

Anyway, for some of those, all you need is caution. you don't just press the cloak button and run straight into action. a blue "aura" will still be around you. Wait one second after you activated the cloak, then go. Also, don't disguise while cloaked, as the smoke will still be seen.
