French House

Post by dintbo(aka bosco) » Fri Jul 18, 2008 2:11 pm

Guys does anyone know of anyone still producing filtered french house music. All the stuff I have is years old. This is the kinda stuff I'm talking about:

Just in case anyone is tempted to tell me this is really cheesey dance music, I already know this. But just like a good cheddar, its bloody irresistible :D

The artist is magda and she has a album named: "She's a dancing machine"
For that album she chopped up +/- 30 songs into little samples and reshaped it.
It's the best fucking techno in the world!

check out Justice or Digitalism, if you haven't already.

I also think that Crydamoure Records are still up and running.

Yeah Crydamoure are still going but only producing vinyl, though as far as I know Roule have stopped unfortunately. I have some digitalism stuff alright but not justice, will check them out.

Jased, cheers man not a bad site at all.

German, I prefer my techno a bit faster and messier, Jeff Mills @ the liquid room sorta thing. The album sounds intreresting though, kinda like Hawtin's DE9:Closer To The Edit in concept anyway. Will check it out.

Cheers guys :D

Bosco it's not what your looking for but you definately need to take a look at Stephan Bodzin, german told me about this guy a year ago, and this dude's music is awsome. Especially the songs: sonnenwind http://youtube.com/watch?v=Islsb5T1IwU, and liebe ist: http://youtube.com/watch?v=uvhzaC3ZzZI&feature=related
