Eugh. Don't. It's such a wicked bastardisation of the book. The book has one main story through and several sub-stories either from the beginning or steming from the main plot, giving a break from the super hero madness. Movie has the main story and only the main story, filled with often incredibly meh and badly casted acting (except from guy who played Roarshach), using the wordy and complex book as a fucking storyboard and with ear raping, brain shattering music cues all from the inexperienced and uninspired Zack fucking Snyder.

I didn't like it... Although the changed ending wasn't as bad as others made it out to be methinks.

I'm with you on that one Meme... I didn't enjoy it at all and I've never seen the comics.

Not sure if you watched the Directors Cut or not, but that's the version I watched and really enjoyed it.

Of course, I first read the comic about 15 years ago, and have bought several copies over the years, so I'm probably going to be abit biased.

As for the changed ending, I actually thought it was better than the original, which probably would never have worked onscreen. Also, I don't think we missed out too much by not having the newspaper seller's story or Tales of the Black Freighter.

I saw Avatar a few days before the New Year. Thought plot-wise it was a little worn but I think that proved pretty effectively that old man Cameron's still got it.
