direct hit stats - apparently
Base Damage: 112.5
Point Blank: 131-140
Medium Range: 62.5-112.5
Long Range: 56.25-75
Mini-Crit: 152.5
Critical Hit: 337.5
Movement Speed: 1980 Hammer Units per second/90~ mph (for reference, UNCHARGED Huntsman Arrow is 1875 and Scout's Baseball is 1940)

Yes you are reading that correctly; The Direct Hit rockets move faster than the Huntsman Arrow and Baseball, and a Mini-Crit or Point Blank rocket will kill any 125 health class.

The splash radius will probably be around 40 units, the size of a teleporter and half the height of a crouch jump.

1875 is the speed of the uncharged Huntsman Arrow. A fully charged arrow moves at 2343.75 hammer units per second, making the Direct Hit rocket the SECOND fastest projectile in the game.

I do Love solly and i am happy to see a "skill" weapon been introduced but the speed and hit damage is just umm RAPE!!

it makes since to have a rocket launcher that requires direct hits and a little mini crit on mid airs is nice but wouldnt it have made more since to have it around the same speed as the Demo's pipe?

I dunno guys, that splash damage area is pretty crappy, about the size of a teleporter and have the height of a crouch jump, all those kills sollies get when they hit players and damage those next to them will be way down!

And what's the betting that the demo gun is going to be mental like a remote controlled missile or something?
It sure as hell is going to be an interesting free weekend!

As per usual are we expecting the server's to be hit hard by the update? Will it be updated and ready to rock for Friday night?

Now, what Dharma says right there about boosting the Pyro's health when using the Backburner is a great one.
What health did you get when it first came out? Was it 200?

It was 225. Otherwise, there is no perk to use it. Oh and btw...I don't think I will be able to play on the server when the update comes out. There is too much spam for my pc to take. I will give it a go, maybe just sit in spec and have a joose.

Splash damage is a big asset on a 32 man insta spawn, I think most Solly's will stick with the original.
