My gig at Charlie's!

Post by trumad » Fri Nov 21, 2008 5:16 am

Hey guys! You may remember me as the guy who sang a duet with Bosco one saturday morning. Some of you have been really kind and remembered that I had an upcoming gig, playing Neil Young songs, in a wee coffee shop in Belfast. Well, it happened and it went really well! People were very encouraging, and I was offered a gig in Charlie's anytime I want. Belfast music scene, here I come!

For anyone interested, the whole story, and a video, is available via this facebook link: http://www.new.facebook.com/video/video ... 6431130196" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks very much!

I was solo for one song. My housemate Andy played some brilliant slide & banjo in the two other songs, and sang harmonies for me. All the info is under the video. Does anyone have trouble seeing the vid?

I doubt I'll be famous...but this past month has been a huge encouragement to me to go down a musical route in my life. But I swear - I'm not buskin unless Bosco is with me!

Next time Bosco's drunk! Ha!

Seriously though, if there was a Fester's get together in Dublin somewhere I'd be more than up for it. It's so easy to drive to from Belfast.
