I'm getting it at barely 20 kB/sec and it's higly unstable (dies frequently)

Unfortunately, Rapidshare favours people who pay for an account.

Very handy to have though, and well worth the money if you regularly download tv/films

Does anyone know of any reliable file sharing sites that free users can use without getting really slow speeds. The list of songs is getting bigger and bigger.

This is what I know to be the best:

- max 1 GB (or 500 MB if you don't register),
- uploaded files can be downloaded unlimited times,
- uploaded files are removed after 60 days of inactivity,
- no registration needed,
- comes with deletion link

I'll second the rapidshare account. Definitely well worth it.
