Re: Best o' Fest' 2
Ok, dragoonknight (admiral catsmoker) has accepted the 14th spot that Voiz left open. Can you edit that in your first post here Eledh?

Re: Best o' Fest' 2
i thought that it may be helpful and quicken our response times if we had a few codewords (let me know what you think of these)
for example:
as a medic i often see a spy heading towards the guy i'm healing, normally saying "heavy spy behind you" takes too long and my guy dies. i thought that maybe just the word "spin" could be used, as in "Mug: spin" indicating that he was about to be backstabbed, he may be able to spin round and survive rather than instant death. (mumble seemed good for this as it has much less lag). also others can use it if they see a team mate in a similar situation..
if you are the person being healed and you realise that you are screwed:
"medic: run"
if you need uber instantly
"pop"
i'm not sure if this is something we want to do but i thought it might be handy to have a few unambiguous words to serve certain situations.. if you guys want to and have ideas for others i can compile a list..

There are already some similar ones in existence for competitive play. I can't say I know all of them but for example map areas have names in order to navigate faster e.g. badlands has mid (being the middle point - this is used on all maps that have an actual mid point), it also has yard, choke, spire, grey bridge, drop down, etc.
"xxx is lit" means someone is low hp and should be targeted e.g. "demo is lit"

Nice ideas on the shorthand lads! I know the 2 buildings on badlands (either side of middle with health) are called shithouse(house where the shit goes down) from when we played 6v6, medic called them that anyway. I like the name.
K, I also got the last email on my list yesterday. ready to sign up the team.
Question is, Should the name be BoF2 or BoF#? what u think guys?
I'm not fond of the label 2, others have shown similar views.
Gonna register the team late tonight. Lemme know your opinions please!

Re: Best o' Fest' 2
Thats up to you and your team offcourse, but i think it's not about the number. It just shows (even more when a 3rd team will be created) outsiders how many teams from this community have entered...

I don't really mind MuG, though if we are calling it BoF2 try to make it BoF² if it lets you, but BoF# is fine too.
