A slight problem before the trading patch but a much bigger problem now.. nearly every match has 3-4 players sitting in spawn on each team doing nothing for sometimes the full duration of a game. For whatever the reason- why not go to spectate? Many games are now decided on who has less players trading/afk/chatting while in spawn making it less fun for those who are actually playing.

So my suggestion is a timer of say 1-2mins where if a player hasnt moved then they are put in spectate. This then would allow the teams to be balanced.

Yeah, UKCS servers have that plugin, think we should get it too

Just set it to auto admin_slap them. Eventually they will be slapped out of spawn

we do use a kick timmer but its set to 5 minutes.

The problem with lower the kick or move to spectator time is that it would stop players from taking a leak and still being on the side they choose.

Admins can move players to spectator if asked nicely

This more or less follows on from my 'So many afk's post'.

I dont get why you cant just get a drink or go for a pee on the minute set up and then be ready for your team mates. Least of all sit in spawn. 1 minute to kick should be the max for me.

Its getting like a day out in the car with young kids now.
Have you been to the toilet ?
Have you got a drink and some food ?
Have you rolled another joint ?

Well maybe not the last 1 but personally i would like to see all this crafting stuff banned in game.

TF2 is turning into an RPG !

it definately takes me longer than 1 min to take a leak, or get a beer, or have a smoke.
