Engy limit
Can we have one? Even if its for a month. Go play on a server with limits and see how much better it is, and I know "It will be back to normal soon", but that doesn't mean its any good until that happens.

Hey Sausage,
I can totally sympathise. Was playing last night and it was actually frustrating to play any other character, as every corner had a fecking sentry around it.
However, I would still subscribe to the idea of letting it settle on it's own, as every update weekend has been the same.

i havent been on the main since the update, but even the kareoke server had its moments of OTT engi-ness
just switch to uber medic, grab yourself a demo and fuck shit up

Oh and I almost forgot - we already discussed this. We've been through these updates and we've never had a class limit. It's just not the Fester's Place way. Even if this one seems to be the most extreme (100% engie team, wtf?) it's still the last one in a long series. We'll be fine.

@diggers - those days since i rarely have a medic or two , and if sometime have - its "somones medic" and he sticks with him - so i rarely go heavy ... therefor beating my score is a noobs job
i took the opportunity to just upgrade others stuff (not geting any points there) and helping the overall team to win (u know how much a level 3 tele can make a difference
)
i play for my team to win - not personal score , thats why u'll hear me moaning on a poor team play and awareness whenever that comes up
u need no proof , but it was known b4 , there will b time blue will attack on a pl map with 10 engis ' one medic one heavy one demo one solly and maybe a pyro spy or two ( the last 6 are those that understand the point of the game and put it above personal gain) , and the funny thing - they'll win (as happend yesterday) cause of an awsome work by spy - sapping as an uber came in - making the damaged maxed ... (and cause reds didnt have a pyro at first - hence each one thinking of himself and engi achives... )
i'd love class limit on attacking team in pl maps , but as exterm noticed and is well known and debated here - its not server policy .
it will go away in a while (as well as server load - BB maybe some stats ? )

I agree, it will settle down as per every major class update but it was very annoying the other night with one map in particular.
I was playing Defence on the first stage of Goldrush, so off went the Setup timer and there were about 10 vs 10 on the server.
I got to Blue's spawn gates and looked around and it looked like a bloody ghost town and if it wasn't for another two players I would have thought everyone had left the server. But no, there were still 7 "colleages" or so, but where? - all were nancying about at our spawn, building sentries! The stupid part was that the Blue's took the Payload to the first cap pretty much with no one there including no sentries. It was only when the cart was in sight of the last cap that the engis appeared, although by this time an adventurous Blue Pyro had gone to our spawn and taken out a few of them!
As per Anubis's comments, I play to have fun (and a chat) with the focus on good teamwork, but when more than half of your team are off doing their own thing and only a few of you are trying to still complete the maps objective - well it quickly gets boring for me.
In a way it would be good if valve could offer micro updates on all the other classes when a major update is released on one, just so as to keep the attraction of the other classes.
