The real stuff ain't so easy to come by here either. I've only tasted it once. And it tastes like...... raw potato

I have a funny story involving rum and raw potato and the consumption of too much of both, but thats for another time.

I guess i'll get a bottle of Cachaca instead.

For a tasty tasty birthday drink just mix with coke and ice. (as in coca cola and small cubes of frozen water, not cocaine and crystal meth

I once had a few slugs (foolishly) of the stuff before going in to an office to hand in a CV. By the time i got the building (2 min walk) i was gee-eyed.
I had to bring my CV to an office at the end of a long corridor and drop it in a tray, not too difficult normally. What transpired thanks to poteen was me being unable to walk straight, and deciding the best way to combat this would be to place my left should agains the left wall...and roll myself sideways along the corridor so i woudn't fall over.
I did not fall over.
I did not get the job.

Why don't you go and drink rubbing alcohol instead?
I don't think you will taste anything if the stuff has 90% alcohol unless you put a drop of poop or Elvis sweat in it.
You could also go with Methanol or lighter fluid, industrial cleaners and whatnot.
I bet the fumes of poteen get you drunk already and don't smoke while the bottle is open.
