i'm looking at this whole thing another way, i see the halo as a reward for my strong commitment to burning the fuck outta the spies, Hence the godlike halo on my head, i'm not gonna pick a side on this whole haters business as i'm going 3rd party

well, it just shows that "random loot" brings out the worst in people. This is not even stuff that gives one even the slightest ingame advantage. Imagine, if there were items that actually had any impact on gameplay.

Valve is actually pretty level headed about the wide spread usage of a third party tool that interacts with their service in a manner that they certainly do not approve. Doesn't matter, if it just farms hats.

This is just a slap on the wrist for those that decided to use it (and got caught by their filter), while they gave everyone else a small gift.

Still find it funny that the filter caught people that used it for a few minutes on day one of the program while its missed people that idled every day for 3 months that have all their stuff intact AND the halo.

I'm spending AGES just sifting through the sea of crap on the TF2 forums wondering, how long will it take till Valve turn around and either 1, give everyone the halo 2, remove the halo 3, remove hats all together (which started everything that came with hat elitism). While laughing all the time at the one person thats trying to say its the idlers fault by using the wrong part of the EULA.

I believe a lot of Fester's Place folk have been saying this all along!

I really do find it hilarious though that people are getting so worked up at losing their stuff they got from doing something dodgy, especially when they are completely useless anyway!

I'm looking forward to jumping on today and finding some idiotic Halo Haters though.
I'm really hungover this morning, so I reckon I'm going to be very very cranky!
