I know how to do that airblast thing myself, never use it though. It eats up far too much ammo too quickly to be of any use and I can't always pull it off...

Does anyone actually ever use it in actual gameplay?

Umm Anubis i would hardly call the pyro air blast over powerful.. it is damn annoying but then again the rockets you fire are pretty power full... as i said get the shotty out 3 meat shots and that pyro wont be any trouble any more

pyro's aint over powered just forces sollies not to always use rockets which i kinda like.. good to mix it up a bit

sorry festers but u are wrong .
when its in use - u can shoot all 4 rockets - and ALL will b deflected ...
thats what im on about , one or two out of 4 - is "normal" capabilitiy , but 3-4 out of 4 - no way , it takes time till the reflection is "charged" again on the right click ...

Yeah it's possible to reflect all the 4 rockets. As far as my experience showed, airblast and rocket launchers have the same "cooldown time".

Edit: Damn, actually I'm wrong, sorry:

"What I mean is the airblast cooldown is longer than the rocketlauncher cooldown, so you can't airblast every rocket in a 1v1 situation like he did."

Pyro's airblast is definately not overpowered. It gives the pyro at least some kind of chance against soldiers and demomen, they'd be screwed otherwise, or at least in my experience anyway

If the pyro had no airblast he'd have an even lower skill ceiling compared to other classes than he has now....

no one is "wrong" here we are chatting about the pyro's weapon returning 4 rockets.. never seen it myself but then again i dont leave a pyro standing that long.. best off not playing with rockets if you dont want them returned to you by a skilled pyro... all 4 rockets CAN be returned if the distance is far enough between the players.. if there doing it all the time and never miss?! well yes then its a script/hack of some sort..

if you suspect some one is cheating tell a admin... and let them know if there is some one is been naughty
