L4D2 is going to have variable paths through levels I think, and horde events where rather than you camping it out, you actually have to move from one location to another. These two changes I think will greatly improve the new game, especially changing paths as the worst flaw with L4D is that I always know exactly where to proceed to, when to expect the tank etc, I like a bit of uncertainty in games.

i liked l4d for 2 weeks, and was worth the 16 euros i payed for.

i am just bord of gameplay, weapons etc.

in my opinion l4d2 is just gonna be more of the same...only difference is the skins and bulletdamage.

i am not gonna buy it
but as you may know i host lots of call of duty servers and the new call of duty will be out soon....so i am just waiting for modern warfare 2 to show up
while you all play l4d or l4d2 ill be in modern warfare 2 i guess...

I just bought it off steam for £12.

The way I see it is that by the time you get bored of the L4D, L4D2 may be old enough that its frequently on special offer, as L4D is now. Waiting for a combo pack around Christmas might be a waste of money if you find that you don't like either new or old version and could have spent less money finding that out by buying L4D right now.
