Surely the point is that Counterstrike and Left4Dead use real life weapons, as they fit the feel of both games, rather than the made up ones of TF2 and Halflife 2.

I'm assuming Left4Dead doesn't have a chainsaw hand of course (it damn well should though. Hail to the King baby)

No chainsaw hand, but blowing some zombies head off with the incredibly satisfying shotgun does give you a very "groovey" feeling!

I just hope that we can set up an alltalk server when the full zombies versus survivors comes out.
Would love to be chasing after players shouting "Braaaaaiiiinnnss" and "I'll swallow your soul"!

I have Teamspeak setup at home that should handle at least 8-12 players with open voice comms (provided its set up at the client end)

The open mic on L4D is cool but a bugger when you accidentally hit the PTT button and switch it off... grumble!! Why they couldn't have a mic mute button instead.

forgot totally about Teamspeak!

I just can't wait for some enterprising modder to increase the player number to 32.
Although I'd actually facvour 8 vs 24 as opposed to 16 vs 16

The demo was cracked between pre-order and full release, ffs...so I'd say full game will be cracked sharpish, even if only for single player, you can't stop those crackers

This is the shit.. Higher Respawntime and more slots [max.32 ply] on the server..*muha* and FF On :P

the tank can break down the spawn room doors!
I encountered a tank with some people on festers place, we ran back to the spawn, he knocked the door off it's hinges and ran in and killed us!

Some of you guys might remember that I've been complaining about errors like 'Connection failed after 10 retries' when I try to join a game. I think I've figured it out why it's happening to me. Of one such server, I've checked the Game Info via Steam, and the IP address of the server is like 192.168.1.64:27015. Now that's a local address, which is so damn annoying...

Edit: When I restart Steam, I get the proper IP... So. Damn. Weird.
