@ crit wrench, I figure it's something to do with repeated kills by sentry - as you generally dont die between sentry kills, so your crit chance just winds up and up, bleh.

Disagreement: the medic unlocks were stupid - it took far too long to get all the achievments. Some of them were, quite frankly, ridiculous. Having it this way is much better.

There's also a wonderful rumour floating about that instead of needing to complete all the achievmenets to get the unlocks, (i.e., unlock at 11/22/33 or something like that) - someone said in an email from Robin Walker (Valve) that the pyro unlocks were at 15, 20, 25. Not confirmed yet, but still go...

I don't get the whole "most kills" things, surely it's more about k:d ratio? Not just how long you've played for?

As a soldier, rocket jump everywhere, it's so much faster, doesn't really hurt you much - and besides, there's HP packs and medics everywhere.
