How to use the Picture Gallery
Well, hopefully you've seen some of the posts I've been making relating to screen shots and wallpapers and the new area on the front end
One of the nice features is the ability to set a specific size for images and still retain the original resolution (if larger). This allows you to store your own images in a slideshow and post them on the forum without stretching the page too wide.
In order to have your own gallery you must register here so I can set one up for you.
From there you can upload and arrange your own pictures as you see want.
Instructions of Use:
- Login first
- Goto your gallery
- Click Manage Pictures
- Upload your images
- Once uploaded you can add a title and description.
5a. Sort the pictures by changing their position or by clicking Sort Pictures.
5b. Hide the ones you dont want others to see.
5c. Delete picture you no longer wish to keep.
Your pictures are stored in their original resolution but are always resized to 800 pixels wide. In order to see this sized picture click on the center of the slide show image. This will open the picture viewer and will show you the phpBB code you will need in order to insert the picture in a forum post.
