changed my password in steam forgot what it is [HELP!]

Help!

After the news about steam being hacked I changed my password with in steam. steam loggs in when windows boots up and i am on it now but Im shitting myself, If steam crashes or ask for the password to be retype I lose my profile!

Any ideas!

set a secret question, or log in through the website and do the retreive forgotten password thing

there is no retreive forgotten password on the site or that I cant find it

ok did find the forgotting password and I am reading the guide. It involves me logging out my steam account and using the "I know my name but not my password" way of getting back in. I am going read up everything before I do anything else and be double sure!

just wondering should I write down my cd-keys? well that help if i was to lose my profile.

Can't tell for sure but since CD keys are also used for getting stolen/hacked accounts back, IMO it can't be a bad thing to have them written down.

Don't they normally ask for a pic of the game Cd showing the key?

If worst comes to worst you can email valve. They will change your password for you, then email you with the new one.
