this years games have been for the most part disapointing for canada as we are 34th overall according to googles medal count chart but at least we are beating irland

Not hard to beat us man, we are a country about a 1/10th the size of Canada

and we still got 5 medals

America has 100+? aint ye about the same size as them?

maybe ye are closer to the size of China?

I've watched more Olympics in the last two weeks then I have in my entire night.

What a closing ceremony. Some of em may not have been the best singers but when they were at the top of their game they were simply unstoppable.

Makes me actually proud to British..... .....for once. What a send off for the games.

Didnt actually get to see any of it - seems to have flown by.
Did want to catch the BMX but was too busy in work to stop when it was on.
Ironically my sister who hated the sport when i used to compete watched it all and loved it.

The aftermath is really good though with so many people feeling positive again.

The brits did themselves proud. Used to be a swimmer, and the Olympics seem to be the only time they show them. Loved every minute of it. Not much of a boxing fan but kudos to Katie, she really pissed off that russkiye and of course the irony of that whole arena singing Amhrán na bhFiann i hope wasn't lost on anyone!!!! Not that i necessarily condone rampant nationalism. Some serious falls in the BMX Cambo, the trails at the beginning were a little boring but once the 8 man races began it got interesting. Roll on Rio i say.
