its actually due to the seperate 4 chambered stomach's that ruminant's have, where certain foods like apple's and even corn that have started to ferment will eventually create alcholol once eaten.
you often see a drunk cows in the south west of England in Autumn.
its the best time to lead them upstairs / but as we all know they cant walk back down.

We have a bunch of apple trees and pear trees, and we often get drunk wasps in late summer. Pretty funny to watch them attempting to land on things and trying to fly in a line.
