Thanks man.

Anyone can gain muscle but there are clearly different types of body types. For some like me I'm what science calls a Mesomorph, i.e. someone who can gain muscle easily. You would be a Ectomorph if you're like Jase. The benefit of Ectomorph's are you only need to add a small amount of muscle and you can look absolutely ripped. For me that's a great look and I know it's super popular with girls too.

Over my training period I've been training a classic Ectomorph and he's added about 1 1/2 stone of muscle and looks great. Very low bodyfat and some muscle is a great combo.

All that is required is a different approach, so where as I've been eating 2500 calories a day, he's been living it up eating over 5,000 calories a day (good calories though not Mcdonalds calories!). If I were to eat over 5,000 a day I'd gain a lot of muscle but I'd also gain a awful lot of fat too.

In the below book is the approach he used

Dharma you can do it without a gym for sure. Guys though need to use weight if they want to do anything like what I've done.

I need to find out more about you Dharma before I suggest anything, so if you want to email me at lee (full stop) vsa08 at googlemail.com

Same goes for those others that have asked for some help, feel free to email me. I'd like to help, like others have helped me over my training time.

I have been on a fitness regime for a couple of months now, jogging that is. But I'm planning on building myself up a bit, I am too skint for the Gym but I have some pretty decent dumbbells. How far can that take me ?

Depends on the dumbells and your strenght and size to be honest.

Most exercises can be done with dumbells, in fact about 80% of my training is with them.

Do you have a bench or anything similar? I do a great deal of my training on and around the bench with dumbells.

Diet is about 70% of your shape and the rest comes from good consistent training. All of this stuff isn't as half as complex as the industry would have you beleive.
