Was watching some videos of the tornadoes on the news last night.

They looked absolutely mental, with lightening coming off the sides and hitting the ground!

To be fair i never seen a thunderstorm (and i seen fireball lightening before) until an American thunderstorm, been meaning to get the footage on youtube for years, was amazing the sound was near deafing and these pics are taken midday... sky just went black!

also i didnt realize until now how close the lightening was..... them trees were only feet away and one blast of lightening was right in front of them...

but aint nothing compared to a tornado!

When I was about 4 I once spent some time at in front of a window on a rainy day.
The window was looking out to a small bricked up backyard, no more than 20m².
A flash of lightning struck down directly in front of the window, the closest I ever came to see a flash, must have been less than a meter.

Its ironic because England has by and large the most benign weather yet the people are obsessed with talking about it.

In truth there are only 2 types of weather in England.

1-Shit
2-Not quite as Shit
