just a couple shots from a 16k trail with 350 meter climb an hour from here that i did yesterday

great trail! tough in the wet, very slippy but great craic!! :D took me 1.45min to get around it. that includes stopping off here and there for a couple of minutes no more than 10 min stopped in total...

There is a 50k trail south of where i live, about an hour from here. I am hoping to hit in a few weeks but def need some more training first :P

Looks awesome.. Nice one on getting it finished. Thats one hell of a run to do. I've been thinking of getting back in to long fell walks in the summer myself but doubt I'll get around to it.

aye time is always an issue to get to do these kinda things but so worth while and worth making time for :D

hill walking is a big thing around here as well might be time to take a trip back to the west of Ireland again bloke?! and bring the hiking boots, take in some mountain walk on the Burren

That big trail i was on about Mug is only over an hour outside Cork, a fella up there rents out bikes (€35) one of the lads has rented off him a few times, you might be interested in coming along some time? :)

Defo Fest. Just in the process of sorting a bike through B2W scheme atm. Save me 300 Squid :)

Looking at a Trek 6500 atm. Found a price of 1200 hereon an irish site, Im hoping the local Ballincollig bike shop(only one work will deal with) can get it shipped in for a fair price. B2W will only pay out 30% of 1k at best.

Any recommendations for an off-road bike that won't kill you on tarmac?

Gonna do a bitta cycling round here again just to get used to the bike. Then I'm good to go and we go down that track. Might need to work on my stamina a bit though. 50km is a long way
Looking forward to it.

Just got me a pair of walking boys. Will be getting a jacket shortly. Coming sounds like a cool idea. Got a small was of wad of euros from last trip.

ah nice one on the 6500 Mug! top bike was just a bit outta my reach when i bought. mine is last years 4700, perfect for trails, i prefer a hard tail over fully suspension, especially for in town, but maybe want to rip the tyres off and get some tarmac tyres for around town, only €20 each, they just make less contact with the road and easier to cycle around town!

check out the Giant's as well made in the same factory as Trek kinda BMW vs VW deal, BMW been Giant VW been Trek :D

Nice one Bloke, even over near wicklow (near dublin) hill walking is very popular over there only a short hop on the boat :D

when your back and fighting fit Bosco your more tha welcome to come along for a toke and pedal some time :D
