basically, its a fake documentary about the life of ralph macchio [who played the karate kid back in the 80s] and how hes such a nice guy, so nice in fact he cant get any acting work, cos hollywood only wants assholes and badasses in their movies. so he has to turn himself from nice guy to hardass to get some work, so people stop thinking he was only in the karate kid

kinda reminds me of 'My Name is Bruce', which has bruce 'evil dead' campbell playing himself, also stuck in a dead end acting career, who manages to find himself kidnapped, dragged to some town i nthe middle of nowhere & gets himself wound up fighting the chinese god of war and bean curd thinking he's in a movie, when really he's not, even tho he is:-?
