Can't help noticing the slip into past tense here, this actually happened?

Still, if you're happy eating "Cat-shite surprise" for lunch who are we to judge you? In fact you'd probably make a pretty penny streaming your lunch-time activities to specialist continental websites via a web-cam.

Ah Doug, he was banned from playing in ireland a while back for saying that irish women were too ugly to rape.
I saw him at the button factory last year, he's good. Yeah, he makes bill hicks sound like a childrens show host but behind the acerbic, world hating attitude is an excellent and intelligent comedian.

Still, wouldn't be a huge fan.
