Hello

I can see my spy masks (http://www.fpsbanana.com/skins/57167" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)

but I cant see my bat ,it´s invisible now.( http://www.fpsbanana.com/skins/62815" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
I also have modded blutsaugers, but i can only see the normal ones.(http://www.fpsbanana.com/skins/45928" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and http://www.fpsbanana.com/skins/45924" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)


any ideas ?

Tried other servers and it worked fine.

I had a quick run through the server.cfg that Fester sent me as reference for my own server. Fester's place runs on sv_pure 1, which is a variable setting that can be edited by Admins through changing the pure_server_whitelist.txt file.
I assume however the lads have a plugin installed or something simillar that changed the custom weapon and model variable to avoid any such cheats through them being used. This is backed up because on a server reset, for the first map, almost all skins/custom models will work until the next map loads up.

The player skins should still work however such as ones like this, and Doomzor confirmed a while back that custom hat models work just fine. Other minor ones such as Spy masks and particle effects should work too as the plugin may be a little dated at this stage.

This is just me blabbering on though. Fester or Del will have a more correct answer I would say.

Is there a way to make my modded skins compatible with the server, because my normal bat is invisible, other than that I can cope with .

Not with the Festers server I'm afraid. To have team set skins for weapons that don't normally have it (rocket launcher, knife etc.), you need to create a seperate, duplicate model for each team. This lets you add on custom skins to both models, allowing for these team set skins.
However, since custom models won't work on Festers, there is little point. You will have to make do sadly with the plain old bat. Just delete the correct model files from your "tf" folder and the game will reset it for you.

You could still however install normal skins for if you ever were to visit another server, they just won't show up on Festers :P

well that sucks... Since I basically only play on fester´s.

I just go to other servers when these servers are full.


Well at least sprays still work... Need one of that bubble that appear over the talking player´s head. Can anyone get me that please ? I have looked but I can´t find it.

It´s fun to mess with while you re a spy :P

sv_pure only takes effect after mapload
so first map up after server start anything goes
subsequent map changes will enforce sv_pure settings

from what I remember, custom sounds and some other content were whitelisted. Couldnt say for sure what it is now tho.
