particle problem

why when i connect to the servers today am i getting the message:
server is enforcing consistency for this file:
particles\water_dx80.pcf
i didnt get it yesterday, plz tell me how to resolve the problem so i can be on my merry way again.

Have you tried checking the game cache ? and restart steam ?

It's a bug and typically means there was a server side update from Valve. Server just needs to be reset if that's the case.

ya sorry wasnt aware there was another update this morning was a bit slow to get it applied.. there was a update last night 2 so what ever they updated last night they fixed today
