no chance finding a sollution in hlstats forums/dev site ?
i wasnt a stat fan till jased reveal it to me
its kinda nice knowing what u do good and what u need to improve
i hate lossing history and achivments of me playing , tho i actually can benefit from it hence i was a poor player and now my stats should b much better
any decision fair by me , still , taking the chance of being a bit rude , may u try finding a sollution that is prolly offered by devs ?
maybe u raising it cause them to manifacture one

If you havent thrown out the logs, you can get it all back w/o losing a thing
stop the realtime stats reader, run it offline against the log file(s)
It'll trundle thru logs from day 1 till now...it'll take a while
then restart realtime stats. All everything will be there and there will be no disparity between points differences between versions, no points lost out between updates/unlocks etc. Peoples points amounts may change, but only to reflect the current points system

Currently working on a solution. I'm not sure on the logs. I checked them yesterday and they start from March this year so I doubt it would be a complete reset and reintroduction.

All is done.
I've restored the stats back to 7am 4/5/09.
Re-run the upgrade and manipulated the offending duplicates to be better behaved.
Fingers crossed this should see the stats back to normal (relating to duplicated players).

that's a shame on the logs. There should be a bakcup on the ftp server up to a point
wotever you did to the conf file, it's munched the googlemaps key. either needs reregistering or pull the original from a backup if theres still one (save you setting location info again)

I've given it a dry run on my home box and found the duplicates.
Stats have been restored back to 4.5.09 and updated to current version with duplicates dealt with.
No loss of data. So we are ok there.
Next time will be easier Honest Guv!

i can't seem to access the rank command ingame so i can keep an eye on my kpd, it came up once but that was it.

I've applied a small round of fixes and put some files in necessary places. This means that the Weapons page is now active and you can type 'rank' in game to see what you are up to.
We also noticed that player connections are announced in green and the stats no longer crash on map change. There is one server side error that is currently awaiting a fix but it doesn't impact on the stats so there is little to worry about.
