Thanks Eledh. If you think of CTF Maps on FP. In order to win the round you have to cap 4 intels. This gives you a point. So during the game you score can go from 0-4. When you hit 4 you win the round and score a round point.
There is no round point given if you win Dustbowl in the fastest time. The score goes from 0-6 to signify the CP caps but there is no round win point.

Contrary to popular belief Fester's Place has some pretty decent players. So many infact they decided to band together and give ETF2L Highlander a go.
We had so many sign ups it felt only proper to create 2 teams. It's all for laughs and giggles and you can read how unorganised we are here.
First things first though.. we needed a name see what we came up with.

Mornings are not my best time of day either. Been meaning to do it for a while LOL.. just wanted it to be something fleshy!

Good auld mornings! Mine are far less hardcore than yer's. 11-12ish and i still don't wake up right till about 4pm

Ive been going through the archives of ETF2L, and took a look at the map-pools of the first 2 highlander tournaments they had. This is what i found.
Looks like the first tournament had a set mappool for every round.
- R1: pl_goldrush & cp_dustbowl. In case of a draw pl_hoodoo_b3 was also played.
- R2: pl_hoodoo_b3 & cp_gravelpit. In case of a draw the played pl_dustbowl_b4
- QF: cp_dustbowl & pl_badwater. (there were no draws there, so cant see what the 3rd option would have been)
- SF: pl_goldrush & cp_redstone_b2. In case of draw pl_dustbowl_b4
- F: pl_goldrush & pl_badwater.
In the second season, it looks like the teams had a bit more choice in maps. But mainly, these were played.
- R1: pl_frontier & cp_gravelpit. In case of draw pl_badwater.
- R2: cp_dustbowl & pl_waste. In case of draw pl_goldrush.
- R3: pl_hoodoo & pl_badwater. In case of draw pl_frontier.
- QF: cp_gravelpit & pl_dbheights. In case of draw pl_waste.
- SF: pl_goldrush & pl_hoodoo.
- F: pl_waste & pl_hoodoo.
So, i think we need to try to get those other payload maps, and practise those more then the 5 point push CP maps like well/granary/fastlane.

Do you know if they'll announce the maps that are possibilities first or will we find out after the whole thing kicks off?

* Flamethrower direct damage reduced 20%.
* Burn duration reduced (10 -> 6 seconds).
* Airblast re-fire delay reduced by 25%.
* Airblast ammo usage reduced by 20%.
* All reflected rockets/grenades/arrows now mini-crit.
* Airblasting enemies into environmental deaths now awards the death credit to the Pyro.
Note for Pyros including me:
