I saw a report on the lottery once that showed how many people pick sequences such as 1-6.
So many in fact that even a massive jackpot would only net you a few grand.

So it wont make you rich but better than a poke in the eye with a burnt stick.

Spread betting cartels in fact remove all obvious sequences such as above.
Also 10,20,30,40, etc.
And the fact that many people pick their birthday or number on a roulette wheel stacks the patterns even further.
Saying all that dont trust that lucky dip - IT AINT

Having won £2.90 on last weeks lottery for a small investment of just £20 goes to prove i am indeed an expert on the subject.

In terms of odds offstage all have the same chance to come out. My brother split with his girlfriend. 6 weeks later she won 4 million with a lucky dip.

When you're numbers are up they are up.

oh feck! Did he break up with her or her with him??

The chances are slightly better if you stick with your lotto numbers rather than changing... but it is still a huge game of chance!

He broke up with her. Bloody funny when it happened.

I think if you play lucky dips you can take it or leave it. If you play a set of numbers then you could be more likely to keep on playing in case your numbers come out. The only winner there is them.
