ive been busy trying to get thru my backlog of 30-odd games [starting with the baldurs gate trilogy, which is about 300+ hours] and ive been rewatcing L O S T

also tf2 keeps crashing on me, re-installing it from stratch to see if that helps

Is baldur's gate any good?

I have a boxed copy of baldur's gate 2 with the (old, tattered) shrink wrap still on it somewhere, and another one of the special edition (expansion?) which had a baldur's gate cloth thing inside it.

I'm still trying to resist the urge to play wipeout hd a lot more. I love Zone mode. I gad a quick go the other night and got to subsonic (zone 50) for the first time ever, but that elusive 75 will be much harder work I think

amazing, but its old school, and hard. took me ages to figure out how things work & know what to do enough to get out of the 1st dungeon without being hideously murdered by everything.

i started with the 2nd 1 [weird i know] but there's a few mods out there that lets you play the 1st with the interface and graphics [and the extra classes] of 2. im using BG tutu, but theres BG trilogy and i just heard of 1 called BG big world

at the mo, ive done all the sidequests for 1, just gotta go hit the expansion places to hit max level [and grab the leet loot] before i go kill the last boss, only i got stuck/bored and ended up playing mass effect 2, got bored of that because i actually wanna play with my ME1 femshep, but to get the most out of her, i gotta get certain people loyal to get their bonus powers, so i started as a vanguard & died horribly

then i moved onto torchlight, which im not sick of [yet] tho i am bouncing between the 3 different characters, so im putting in 3x the hours, probs coulda had it beat by now

and now that i know how to do the 1 hit stealth knockout thing in deus ex [protip, aim for the ass!], im playing; deus ex. only ever got as far as hell's kitchen and got lost trying to blow up the generator, but ive done all that and now im looking for mole men, or something :s

in other news TF2's working fine again
