the maze map must have been a shitload of work. I agree with Mug though, kinda pointless for default tf2.
A maze looks nice from the top but is shite to play in first person view if it's made of dull walls.
I'm also not sure it would work well on a proper tf2 server, there's too much going on in the map itself ....means the server is counting and calculating more than on a normal tf2 map where you have hardly anything going on in the map itself except for a few triggers for doors and what not, maybe a counter or two.
This map is probably constantly calculating and counting.
I once made a "Mastermind" map for gmod, actually it works in any source mod. I almost went crazy connecting all the in- and outputs on the entities. The map wasn't bigger than your usual spawnroom but was very laggy sometimes, even with only one player.

Hold on there!

Is that a map with a giant cat with laser fucking eyes killing everyone????

I suggested something like this ages ago on the server (although in my version, it was a giant bunny with laser eyes) and was told that this couldn't be done!

Anything can be done lazy, don't listen to other people if they tell you otherwise. A quote from a guy I met when I was in the army.
Martin Tajmar wrote:Anything we can imagine is possible.
...though he didn't write it, he said it :D

He now develops rocket propulsion systems or whatever ....a real rocket scientist.
I had some very interesting conversations with him.

A maze map by itself would not be a bad idea, if it wasn't too magical: there's nothing more annoying than waiting for some random walls to get the hell out of your way.

Yeah, we used to play it on a Friday night!

By the way, is that PacMan map still on there? That was good for a game or two!

Played a nice PL map with 3 guys yesterday... Involved pushing the cart up to a door, and then standing on a controlpoint that was slowly lowered, opening the door, so you could continue pushing the cart... Dont know the name now anymore, will look it up once i get home tonight.

Would like to play it with a full server... :)

Pacman is good on the karaoke server but it has a harsh tendency of clearing out the main

This looks like it might be good...Big ass payload map that could suit 32 players
