My first (kinda) rage quit

Well for me Fester's was the first server I ever played and since then those maps have come up so often, nowadays I just click Cancel when I saw them loading.

I do the same if i wanted to play the same maps again and again id play CS. Part of the benefit of new maps is there is less familiarity and so less effective defences and more stuff happens.

Don't worry Cal, I'm sure mach 4 will still show up. In fact its still in the rotation afaik.

Festers place used always be a great place for new maps and thats something I'd love to get back.

when is the new map rotation gonna be done, maybe keep maps that have been played to death out of the vote list to give some of the newer/less played ones a chance

It may be worth a new map list to be done.. the worry is always that an RTV will yield the same old maps being requested... so maybe we should prevent RTV and make a new map vote.

also maybe it would be worth removing the maps that are in rotation from the rtv list? and just let admins put them on or let the rotation bring them on. stop the over powering rtv's for over played old maps.

some these new maps makes my fps hurt though.. i can see why people like to pull up the ol reliable's they are good solid working maps with no fps trouble area's

Make sure they're small enough file size too.I remember that gimpy tc map,meridian or some bollocks was over 100mb and most people weren't arsed downloading it as it took ages.If it was played late enough it just emptied the server.But yeah,please no more feckin avanti!!

I don't think that's a good idea, too often will you get one side completely dominating the other, making the map no fun for at least half the players. That and the fact that if I see more badlands I'll puke my lungs out
