Anyway, over here my college had a TF2 match with another one (for the Irish lads it was us [CIT] vs UCC). Was meant to be 8v8 but we only had 7 and played 2 of the 4 maps 7v8 and lost, got UCC to be fairer and went 7v7 and won both but sadly lost on round 3 of the tie breaker
After getting home I realised there's a lot of Irish Fester's players and turned out Bowzie would totally have come down and played for us as an 8th(/facepalm).
Then after some chatting with Bowzie he mentioned he'd like to join some 6v6 with us (as we sometimes play tf2lobby to die against the pros haha). This then lead on to him suggesting we arrange some Fester's 6v6 if anyone would be up for it?
If you've not heard of it, TF2Lobby is perfect for this (http://www.tf2lobby.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), you can host a lobby using one of the valve-provided servers or join one, but they are sometimes down. Best bet is to have your own, you give tf2lobby the rcon pass, it sets the map and all settings you choose on the website all up for you. Bowzie says you guys have a spare server (minimix or something) knocking around somewhere?
Sorry for the big long story but felt it was semi-relevant to explain where the idea came out of
Anyway if you guys are interested let me know, we could have some fun matches between ourselves!
On a side note 9v9 Highlander (one of each class) is also an option!
