sandman unban?

The Sandman

* A Scout will receive 1 point for stunning an enemy and 2 points for a long range stun
* Stunned players now take 75% of all incoming damage instead of 50%
* Ubercharged players can no longer be stunned
* Heavies spinning their mini-guns will continue to spin when stunned (whether the left or right mouse button is pressed)
* The minimum distance to stun a target has been reduced
* The negative attribute has changed from "no double jump" to "-25 max health"

uberstun no longer! can it be unbanned?


after all, the same people who banned this from the pugs helped with this update

OH BTW. NINJA NERFS SUCK. MY DEAD RINGER NOW LASTS ABOUT 3 SECONDS. WHILE KEEPING THAT NOISE THAT WAKES UP MY NEIGHBORS.

I dont care if it doesnt stop ubers.
it still bonks kritkerige, and now im all pissed off since 7 seconds of my uber was wasted cause some pillack bonked cettu just after i kritsed him

Those are the risks of using the kritzkrieg. You won't go invincible, ergo you can be killed if you aren't careful. On the other hand if you manage to survive the kritzkrieg will prove to be dangerously effective. That has always been the gist with the kritz: a gamble. If you want to be invincible change back to the medigun, or better yet, transfer your uber from the bonk'd guy to someone else.

I haven't played since the update now so I'm only taking the written changes into account, don't take my opinion too seriously for now.

I would still say no, personally. The Uber stunning was only half the hate, getting stunned even before the Classless update was still quite often guaranteed a death from a Scout with at 3 Scattergun Ammo or 2 well placed FaN shots for anything except a Heavy (and now taking 75% of damage instead of 50% this is made even more stark). This was because the length of the stun is meant to be relevant to the distance between the Scout when he shot the ball and the range, but wasn't always the case. The range of the Sandman ball has also been reduced I hear, furthering this claim.

Again though, I'm only playing by what's written on paper from the Classless update. Probably a little different in reality.

And the Dead Ringer is still very overpowered in the right hands (Doomzor :P), I stand by that claim.
