sandman unban?

The Uber stunning was only half the hate, getting stunned even before the Classless update was still quite often guaranteed a death from a Scout with at 3 Scattergun Ammo or 2 well placed FaN shots for anything except a Heavy (and now taking 75% of damage instead of 50% this is made even more stark).

Scouts wearing the sandman have less 30hp than if they used the bat, meaning they have 95hp. The easy part is to stun someone. The hard part is getting in scattergun tange to your target. A a nice working team can easily kill a scout, even quicker when he has less 30hp

Oh btw is CEVO the pope from official 6v6 games? If that's the case, in their latest rules they don't have the dead ringer banned. They are pros, they are the best players in the world, they're totally awesome and are a reference and model to everyone, everyone looks up on them so I want my cookie back.

I know I don't play in these games, but why is the Sandman still banned?

Surely the Health cost and the fact that they can't stun Ubers anymore makes it considerably less useful?

Again, purely an acamdemic type question, as I don't even use it myself when I play scout, just interested in the reasoning.

From a 'balance' point of view, the sandman makes it 6v5 for a short period. If the scout is an über pro he could stun the medic or the demoman for great advantage. Still I'm of the opinion that it should be allowed, 95 hp is really low.
