Mouse Acceleration Disabling program

Post by oldmeme » Wed Jul 01, 2009 6:38 pm

Here is just a little something for anyone who seems to be missing a number of their shots and are looking for a possible solution.

Mouse acceleration is when you move the mouse 3 inches and turn 100 degrees, but if you move the same 3 inches faster than before, you'll turn 180 degrees. This liddle 'ol program will disable this feature and is often reccomended by many gamers.

You'll do just fine I'd say without it if you want, but if you are a Sniper or Scout enthusiast, this may help with a lot of those shots you keep over or under aiming at :P

It'll feel very odd at first playing with this, and a lot slower to turn (I went so far as to go up to 1200dpi from 800) but you should improve in due time.

Give it a shot and best of luck trying it out.

Here's the link.
An installer and uninstaller are inculded in the zip file.

800 to 1200.. wow.. I'm on 2000 and turn mine down to 1600 when scouting and feeling tired!

I find if I can control my parkinsons disease I aim just right ;)
