When we rented from Killer Creations we got a 12 slot vent server and was set up early on with such speed.. over time some spiders moved in and have now covered the fecker in webs.. but with a brush shouldn't be a problem....

BUT as Del said the hassle for the users to install and setup vent is a lot.. the program is external of tf2 and i am sure that will cause some grief for people


also dont we do this for fun? does the 500/ms REALLY matter?

So many conflicting options! You could be right on that then Fester. We already had some problems on the last game leaving us to go scrounging for more people willing to play :S

Who knows. We may have a mini-Tournament at some point where it might be put to use.

I found teamspeak was a lot easier to set up, having used it before on Counter Strike, Battlefield2 and also with Wow.

no hard config at the client end just install the prog Define a Key binding for talk and the only other thing you need the ip addy of the client server. :roll:

same with vent really Mike.. install bind key connect to server.. even still can be a bit much for some folks ;)
