Fester predicted it last night. The update has broken the server. Luckily it's only broke Sourcemod and they know about it and a fix (fingers-crossed) should be coming soon.
For the time being on all TF2 server, sourcemod has been removed.

All is now well. Sourcemod has been updated and things are back to some sense of normal. Don't forget it's Friday so anything can happen and don't forget your beer!!
