it's the problem with audio feedback coming through the mic, regardless of speakers/heaphones/tins-and-string

Seems to be a Realtek HD thing, but as I am only on the receiving end I can't be sure, which is why I would like those who had a problem w/ it and fixed it to detail what they did/what settings they use, so when you come across someone in game with it we can tell em the fix rather than 'mate, yer mics fucked'

I had problems with people hearing what I was hearing. And also I have Realtek HD thing.

What I did was open up realtek thing, go to mixer, and in the bottom right make sure Stereo Mix was muted under record.

Could you post a nice pick of it with an arrow pointing to where you mean. It's late now but I'm pretty sure I didn't see this on Advents config. It would be ace to get it cleared up and added to the sticky post then we are covering as many bases as we can.

Noooooooo.. don't buy a USB soundcard. If anything get a PCI or PCIe card especially if you have a lower end PC. It's help prevent stuttering and FPS loss.
