FESTERS PLACE

As a few of you know, I have stuttering/freezing issues while playing L4D, which can of course be very annoying.
I had checked into my system and found the L4D uses just over 1GB ram most of the time, considering that the recommended specs only need 1GB total for the computer, I figure that this is too much.
I have 4GB running Vista Ultimate 64, so using 1GB may not be my problem.

I have found that nVidia's latest drivers can cause a problem

This hopefully will work, but if someone knows about the memory issue, could you please let me know.

You sure this is still related?

I've had stuttering and lagging in L4D and it was due to multicore rendering. Turned it off and all was fine. I didn't notice too much FPS loss either.

I've not tried turning it on and seeing what happens but that thing is a pain in the arse at times!!!
